“What is Punch The World?” you ask.
Punch The World is NOT literally about punching the world. Punch The World is NOT violent or about violence. Punch The World is NOT a cry baby, ‘woe is me wah wah wah’ podcast.
Punch The World (PTW) IS what you want to do when you’re having a rough day, or the man is bringing you down, or that certain someone is just getting under your skin. PTW is a soundtrack for your day, week, month, or hour that hopefully contains something you can relate to. Or if there’s nothing you can relate to, hopefully you’ll find a track or two that you dig. PTW is about the mundane, the earth-shattering, and about the idiosyncrasies of livin’ the dream. Each PTW podcast will be based on whatever is going on at that time in the world, in my life, in my mind, or some sort of random theme that seems fun to string into a group of songs and then tell you why I think they go together when they really don’t. PTW is commiseration and celebration in the form of indie music. And sometimes, PTW will have nothing to do with any of the above.
