Hit & Run EP by Sloan
Sloan has released yet another set of pop rock goodness. They are one of the few bands that everything they touch seems to turn to gold. It’s almost as if you want them to release something shitty so you can exhale for once. But not with their new EP Hit & Run. Only five songs, so that seems to disappoint, but only because it leaves you wanting more. On the first couple songs, I thought perhaps that Sloan was taking it easy this time – less hand clapping, less pop more melodics. Then we hit “It Is Never” which leads us to the end of pop rock vanity – and can rock n roll be any good if it’s anything but vain? Absolutely not.
But you can check it out for yourself here, stream the entire EP then head over to Sloan’s website to get the EP for on the run music pleasure.
