Video Victory Friday
By Xtine • Nov 27th, 2009 • Category: OKR ArticlesIt’s 7.56am and I’m tired as fuck. Spending the holiday weekend in Indiana can be draining. Seeing people you haven’t seen in 364 days – most likely for a good reason. Keep smiling, keep drinking and you’ll make it through.
But it’s Black Friday and it’s now 7.57am and I’m doing all I can to wake up and face the crowd. All I need are buttons, damn buttons. But today is the day these buttons are half off and I’m broke. So I’ll have to do it. Face mass consumption at it’s best. Bitchy soccor moms, kids who run in front of you to just so you can trip over them, retail workers who’s patience has already been drained, traffic for miles… For some damn buttons. Fuck buttons.
So I’ll try to wake up, a pot of coffee, a pack of cigarettes and music… ah music…
The music has to be upbeat, preferably played best at top volume.
And I’d like to every now and then shake my ass and throw my hands in the air for a nice little workout… stretching for the big game, if you please…
And of course I have to be able to sing along, maybe some new ones or some old school… Either, when you know every word and sing along the loudest you can, you’re bound to wake up…
